Gentle Autumn Breeze

But when I go to sleep
my world becomes a sunny day
catch   careless love let slip away
we lay
in grassy clover fields
sing chorus with the whipoorwill
join her in the magic crystal     air

now I don't really care
how they beat and torture me
they'll never touch the dreams I see
I breath
their hate and   try to smile
drink poison potion warm and vile
close my tires and     burning eyes

bye, good friends of mine
the time has come for    me to go
leave you in this tragic picture show
I know
your    sad and mournful gaze
broken, withered, scattered on the clay
waiting for the gentle autumn breeze

Venice Reaching out to Venice
arms stretched across the   water
I feel to only know her
would be my journey's end

Her sparkling lights entice me
like the eyes of a mystery   lover
who hovers in my deepest dreams
then fades before my touch

As I penetrate the city
my gondola sweeps her sweet canals
I somehow feel let down
yet richer all the same

Reaching   out to Paris
arms stretched...........

Pair o' Ducks estranged, yet united
curteously curt
sharingly shelfish
smiling, yet hurt
gentle    brutality
honest, yet plastic
purely defiled
patiently   drastic

kind sense of cruelty
lovingly hating
appalled,   yet caressing
nostalgically waiting

Emily's Eyes pool blue eyes, innocent
warm and     wide
with four wonderful years
everyday in my arms

now, they seem like    minutes....
seconds...going...going...gone
overflowing   rivulets
into a streamy
broken hearted crevass

You can't understand
i don't know what to   say
Daddy and Mommy don't get along
So, Daddy has to go    away
and my sweet little darling...
it will never be the same

shame, shame, shame     on us

Reflections "Lady of the Lake" where are you?
hear    my desperate plea
I've seached the world both high & low
for      the grail you promise me

I found honor on the ocean
captured   beauty's gentle grace
now my queen has fallen ill
and the    children turn away

so, here I stand, a tired old man
who's   lost his stubborn will
recalling vessels made of wood
and    sailors made of steel
recalling vessels made of wood
and sailors   made of steel

Nocturnal Voyage green eyed lady lay beside me
let us melt in tender     kisses
and vaporize to the other side
like argonauts of the    universe
in search of a golden fleece

gliding beyond the    twilight
we pirouette though the purple sky
toward our galaxy's   limit flung
with but a nova for a guide

let us rest at the     quiet perimeter
of our beautiful sapphire garden
savoring the    milky way below us
thick and sweet as maple syrup
trickling    softly from the spring of earth
to the origins we explore

at    last we are there!
the theoretical barrier
where fussion is   complete
and time stands still
so sweet....
so sudden...
so fleeting....

returning
to solid
forms
panting
from the burning shock
of re-entry
we talk in the shadows
about God only knows
then embrace and soundly sleep
