For Dawn

My Dawning

I lie here quietly this dark lonely night,
I have too much time to contemplate my plight.
Why do I love one who professes to love another,
Can't she understand our love's meant for each other.
My days of joy will turn to days of healing.
How can my loving heart be possessed by this feeling.
Knowing her enough to become fooled by the illusion.
That my love was strong enough to will my vision.

Two hearts touch for a brief moment in time,
Her heart pure gold her name etched into mine.
Loving feelings so pure souls forget where they are,
My heart never the same forever it bears the scar.
Dawns sunlight arrives bringing the days news,
The fearful words I hear my memory never to lose,
I'm leaving now darling come hold me once more,
I told you from the beginning as she closed the door.

Angel's Touch

Reservoir of tears overflowing from my eyes,
Mind believing the most beautiful lies.
Her caring touch my heart's broken seal,
Her compassion restraining the hurt I must feel.
The love I have for her a heart cannot hold,
Fantasies, daydreams, this love story untold.
Beholden to my creator blessed his special gift,
Brushed by radiate angel wings delicate, swift.

Have We Met?

The Millhouse

What posessed us to speak that day?
I swim through my memory, distant...
Chance...Fate...Devine intervention
I wasn't looking for you that night
How does this happen?
Two souls wandering through eternity
A glance...a look...tacit smiles
Soulful faces connect, eyes revealing
We meet again for the very first time

Vibrations...Reminiscent, my movements subside
Intimate... comforting feelings never felt
Emissive presence searching...attracting...
I am here, it is me, where are you?
My spirit wells warmth, internal inferno
Melting the chains bonding my heart
Love springs effervesce...sparks... her eyes ignite
Galvanic effect my consciencous awakens
We meet again for the very first time

Excitement... tempered, steady my spirit
Deep breath...expanding lungs quivering
Mind racing...this occassion so monentous
I thought I lost you...despondency fades away
Spirits longing...our lips form the first words
Ages...so much to say, together again we play
Harmonious...rejoicing...resonating energy abounds
Kindred lovers...you and I, eternal bonds forever
We meet again for the very first time
