A RAILWAY MESSENGER

Driving along the causeway, in a Bedford bus,
I pick up all the guys for work, they never cause a fuss.
We have a good old wongy, and laugh then tell some jokes,
They're really quite a friendly lot, the Hammersly Railway blokes.
I take them to the seven mile, with their eskies and their lunch.
I drop them at the terminal, they're not a REAL bad bunch.
they go out ro their engines, then drive them up the lines,
they bring back 20,000 tons, from the great iron ore mines,
It's not an easy job, twice or thrice a week,
although the money's very good, it's the challenge they seek.
When I take them home again, a smile upon their face,
It truly makes my job worthwhile,as I drop them at their place.
When I drive for seven shifts, I truly love my job.
It's a pleasure to be knowin' THE HAMMERSLY RAILWAY MOB'.

The Fairy Lights of Adelaide.....

The Fairy lights of ADelaide, twinkle through the night
Emitting out the coloured Stars, to residents delight.
Imagine!tiny Elfins, dancing with the sprites,
Hear the Gnomes and Goblins ,singing with delight.
the Fairy lights ..spread their glow,
To warm the city, from an Easterly blow.
The coloured lights, change their hue,
to a gorgeous brilliance, to the deepest blue,..
The background hills, Marvellous sights
beneath the glory ,of the Fairy lights.
Folk come from a faraway land,to behold beauty of a scene so grand.
TWINKLING..TWINKLING..THROUGH THE NIGHTS,
THAT ARE GRIPPED IN THE SPELL.. OF THE FAIRY LIGHTS...
