Sadparadise

tonight I will sleep in
Salmon Arm under skies
where romance once was.

Look around it's all the same
dust as everywhere on this
old time Earth.

I should be hitch-hiking
the road don't care if you
smoke when you wanta smoke.

No ride no smokes
a whole night in dark
western Ontario.

Series of non-events
A light house on the prairie
where is it?

Bizarre circumstances
Chanced passing close
encounter 7 dollar wine

15 minutes to the end of
the world, how will I
find time to pass.

All sense has stopped
this is music with no sound
just small blue scratches.

There is no consumption
no presumption thereof
Guess I'll consume the sky.
