Losing

I drink my country peach at night
remembering of our past delight
Never together, never alone
we seem so old but yet not grown.
Legacy burns until no more,
begin to think I am a bore.
Always yearning for your love
dreams make me fly high like a dove
I have a feeling your flying too
but dear I wish I was there with you.
Just one day together is what I want
but then I remember I always want.
The Masters' Principles are to return
then I will go and my heart will burn
The killing of our love is an abandon
leaving my heart as a black canyon
Then once again there is silence
apart we stand with love's abundance.
